As a Box Tops member, you've felt the satisfaction of helping others. There are lots of ways that your children can experience the joy that comes with acting generously, too.

Some ideas:

  • Bake cookies with your kids — letting them design or decorate them — then have them pass the cookies out at a nearby nursing home. Try one of our cookie recipes and clip Box Tops as you bake.
  • Find out what books your local women's shelter would like (moms and their children may be staying there) then buy them through the Reading Room to earn up to 6% cash back for your school. Ask your child for book suggestions for the kids.
  • Purchase a toy through the Marketplace and donate it to a children's charity. Not only will you make a big difference for a child's holiday, but by starting at the Marketplace, you can also earn up to 15% cash back for your school. Again, ask your kids for suggestions to involve them in the project.
  • Volunteer your time at a food shelf, taking your kids along. Before you go, check with the food shelf staff for items they need and bring them with you.
  • Have other ideas on sharing your good fortune? Share them here!
