Photo Fun

There are plenty of ways to cherish your favorite memories and display them for everyone's enjoyment. Get started with these fun, easy ideas:
Archival CDs
If you take a lot of photos and store them on your computer's hard drive, you should probably have a reliable way to back them up. One way is with archival quality CDs. Archival CDs, from Exposures catalog, have a higher capacity and a stronger finish that protects photos for hundreds of years.
Online Storage
There are numerous websites where you can store your photos in albums and share them with anyone around the world. Flickr and Facebook offer user-friendly uploading and sharing, while samsclub.com Photo Center allow you access to photo printing and fun photo keepsakes.
Digital Frames
Over the past few years, digital frames have become more affordable and practical. They let you store dozens or even hundreds of photos and display them in a continuous slide show — all in one small frame that fits easily on a desk, end table or mantelpiece.
Photo Boxes
If you like to handle your photos or grab a few to take with you to get-togethers, maybe a keepsake photo box is the way to go. Photo boxes work just like recipe boxes. You can sort your photos by location, by subject or chronologically. They should be made of acid-free cardboard to offer the best protection to your photos.
Acid-Free Albums
You can avoid all the trimming, decorating, pasting and captioning of scrapbooking if you pick up a few albums with acid-free pocket pages. Just slide your photos into the 3-1/2x5 or 4x6 pockets and you're ready to go. These albums will protect your photos from yellowing and fading, and keep them in chronological order, just like scrapbooking, but with a fraction of the work. Acid-free albums are available at most discount stores and photo shops.
